Bridie Thomson [she/they] has over 15 years of stage and screen experience, and after moving from Hawkes Bay in 2022, quickly established a presence in Auckland’s performing arts scene, primarily comedy.
As an improviser, emerging clown and stand-up comic, their comedy blends sharp wit with character work and absurdity. Bridie also founded Comedy Culture NZ, producing the sold-out show ‘Femmes and Thems Comedy’ at the 2024 Auckland Fringe Festival.
As a voice artist, Bridie’s warm, adaptable tone suits a range of projects from commercial to character work. They are also an Audio Describer with Able, highlighting their commitment to accessibility and storytelling.
Bridie continues to create inclusive spaces for diverse voices in the arts through the medium of laughter.
