Kat Hawkes, born in New Zealand to an American/Russian mother and a Kiwi father, a former New Zealand Decathlon champion, was raised in the U.K. Her early years were marked by success in athletics, leading her to train for the Olympics at Millfield School. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Russian from the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at London University, she's not only multilingual but also holds citizenships in the USA, UK, and NZ.
Kat's post-university career took her to Moscow, where she founded a promotions agency working with Fortune 500 companies. Later, she explored the arts, taking up ballet in California under renowned teachers, including Joyce Vanderveen. Now SAG registered, Kat brings her diverse background and global experience back to New Zealand, focusing on her acting career and reconnecting with family.
